Erik Larson (born January 3, 1954) is an American announcer and author of mostly recorded nonfiction books.
His books subsume Isaac's Storm (1999), The Lucifer in the White City (2003),[1]In the Garden of Beasts (2011), and Dead Wake (2015). The Devil in the White City won the 2004 Edgar Prize 1 in the Best Fact Villainy category, among other awards.
Early life and education
Larson was indwelling in Brooklyn and grew serving in Freeport, Long Island, Pristine York.[2] He studied Russian scenery at the University of University and graduated summa cum laude in 1976.
After a generation off, he attended the River University Graduate School of Journalism, graduating in 1978.[2][3] He was inspired to go into journalism after seeing the movie All the President's Men.[4]
Writing career
